Deborah Fahrbach, L.Ac.
Deborah came to Chinese medicine after an increasing interest and then passion for the fields of health and wellness. As the co-owner of a health and fitness business with her husband, she found that she most enjoyed talking to their clients about how to correct illness and imbalances in their health by changing diet, making lifestyle changes, correcting dietary deficiencies with supplementation, and finding the right medical practitioners (naturopaths, DO’s, acupuncturists, functional medicine practitioners, etc.) to help them on their journeys back to a healthful state. When she herself sought out medical treatment for a chronic respiratory issue from a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine who used acupuncture and Chinese herbs to help her, she knew that learning this medicine was a way that she could directly make a difference in the lives of people struggling with health concerns.
After relocating with her husband to Long Island, Deborah decided to attend the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Manhattan beginning the four-year journey to complete a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine a program which included more than 1000 clinical hours and over 2500 didactic hours of training.
